Rainer Schuhmacher

Dr Rainer Schuhmacher is Associate Professor at the BOKU where he is heading the working group Metabolomics and Bioactive Compounds.
He has some 20 years of experience in the fields of instrumental analytics and is author of more than 100 scientific publications. Currently Rainer is supervising 10 master and PhD students as well as two Postdoc fellows and a technician. His current research interests focus on the LC-MS and GC-MS based metabolomics of plants, fungi and their biological interaction
