Ian Wykes

Ian Wykes has been the Development Manager for Tame Valley Wetlands since November 2018, employed through Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. Ian started his career as an archaeologist and has worked for both national and local government in the heritage field latterly diversifying to a wider environmental portfolio at Staffordshire County Council where he was strategic lead for the environment as well as leading the authority’s climate change work. Ian also represented the West Midlands region on PURPLE Peri Urban Regions Europe Platform a network of EU regions with peri urban characteristics.
