Marta Villa

Marta Villa graduated in Moral Philosophy and in Anthropological and Ethnological Science at the University of Milano and Milano-Bicocca. She obtained her PhD in Contemporary Anthropology (Milano-Bicocca, tutor prof. Ugo Fabietti and prof. Ivan Bragna) with a research about fertility ritual and identity in Südtirol.

Since 2013 she collaborates with Sociological and Social Research Department - University of Trento and she leads seminars and lectures about topics of mountain food culture. She teaches Cultural Anthropology of Education and she is teaching assistant in Qualitative Methods and Research Lab - University of Trento. Since 2016 she collaborates with LabIsAlp - University Italian Switzerland and she leads an anthropological and historical research about the evolutionary dynamics of valley bottom landscape and propriety in Piana Rotaliana (Trento).

She participated to international and national congresses about topics of her research. She wrote three books, more than thirty essays in collectives books and forty articles in scientific Italian and international magazines.
