CURRENT POSITION: Project manager and farmer at  the Property Management Department at the Municipality of Gothenburg

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: B.Sc in Development Assistance - Mechanical Engineering, University of Skövde, 2010. Gardener, vocational training at Folkuniversitetet, 2014.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

2018  Farm hand at Earthculture Farm, Gothenburg.

2015-2016 Gardener at Gothenburg Botanical Garden.

2014  Project manager and gardener at Jubileumsparken, Frihamnen, Gothenburg.

2013-2016 Stadssallad, sole trader. Education in permaculture design and multifunctional urban development.

Klara Hansson is working within the Property Management Department at the Municipality of Gothenburg, and is currently managing and implementing a case study for a so called Model Farm in the peri-urban landscape of Gothenburg. She has a background within the field of small scale urban and peri-urban farming and gardening, and has been working with permaculture design, multifunctional landuse and a circular systems approach for the past decade. Her strength lies in her ability to be both visionary, practical and pedagogical, putting ideas to the test. Klara has resided in e.g. Argentina and Moldova, and has worked with small scale farmers in the USA and Australia.
